About Us

We are a group of scientists from Norway and the United States undertaking one of the longest Antarctic traverses in order to pursue climate change research. We love science and we hope you do too!

Traverse LogoThis project is a part of the Trans-Antarctic Scientific Traverse Expeditions – Ice Divide of East Antarctica (TASTE-IDEA), and the International Partners in Ice Coring Sciences (IPICS), both highly international endeavors that have ISCU-WMO endorsement for the International Polar Year 2007-8.
