Preparations for wintering of equipment continue. We surveyed a snow runway for aircraft landings with radar, secured the modules and continued the maintenance of vehicles.

Both for taking down the Basler aircraft and to prepare for potential Hercules landings early next season we surveyed a snow runway with radar. No crevasses were detected. Further, we decided to anchor the two modules to secure them against extreme winds (see photo). Also, the third vehicle, Lasse, was put to “rest”, i.e. maintenance of it was completed.
